Myroslav Laiuk was born in 1990 in the Carpathians, now lives in Kyiv. He is a Ukrainian novelist, poet, PhD in philosophy & literature and a teacher at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. He also compiled Anthology of Young Ukrainian Poetry of the III Millennium. Myroslav is a host of the show The Poetry Time on UA: PBC. KyivPost distinguished Laiuk at Top 30 Under 30 ranking of 2018 as one of the most innovative young Ukrainians. Myroslav is the author of 3 poetry books: Thistle! (2013), Metrophobia (2015) and Rose (2019) that were awarded by numerous prizes, especially by Litakcent Roku as the best poetry books of the year in Ukraine (2013, 2015). Myroslav authored 2 novels: Babornya (2016), and The World is not Created, (2018).
