Ramūnas Liutkevičius was born in 1982 in Antaraisčiai, Molėtai district. He studied Lithuanian philology and semiotics at Vilnius University. Liutkevičius’s debut book Šokis įsuka šviesą (The Dance Turns In the Light) earned him the Young Yotvingian Prize and was listed by The Institute of Lithuanian Literature and Folklore among the Top 12 Most Creative Books of the Year. He has performed readings at various artistic festivals, including the Paviljonas Book Fair, the Latvian literary festival Dzejas dienas, the interdisciplinary festival Yaga, and the theater festival Sirenos.
